Dive Maui is a family owned and operated boutique ocean adventure company in Lahaina.  We believe people protect what they love, and we love the ocean. Our mission is to create meaningful and memorable ocean experiences for people of all ages and so that they will come to cherish the marine ecosystem, too.  

Fun, education, and safety for families, friends, and individuals are at the heart of all our adventures.

We are a full service PADI dive center and offer scuba diving for all levels from our boats and from shore.  New divers can get a glimpse of the underwater world with private introductory dives and PADI courses. Certified divers from beginner to advanced can enjoy small group guided dive trips that include charters to Lanai’s Cathedrals, Molokai’s Hammerheads, and Maui’s reefs and wrecks.  We also offer guided shore dives and night dives at the best sites on Maui.

Not a diver?

Join us for a spectacular snorkel trip on Maui or Lanai where you’ll see dolphins and swim with turtles and other reef fish.  

During the winter months, from December to May, we offer whale watching trips.  Our inflatable raft is the perfect boat to bring you up close for intimate encounters with humpback whales.  We get you near the action so you can watch mothers nurture newborn calves, see males compete for females, and hear underwater whale songs.  

All of our whale watches are led by trained marine naturalists who will give you fun and informative interpretation of whale behavior and characteristics.  

All of our boat trips leave out of Mala Ramp in Lahaina.  Our shop is nearby for convenient parking. Feel free to swing by before or after your trip to store your belongings, shop Maui’s largest inventory of snorkel and dive gear, or rent equipment.  

We have been sharing the underwater wonders of the Hawaiian islands with happy customers for over 20 years, and in that time have become one of the most trusted names on Maui.
