The beginning of each summer, Friends In The City presents Hawaiis most inspired social fundraising event, Friends In The City. The days of events focuses on philanthropy, empowerment, fashion, inner and outer beauty, wellness, travel, popular culture and haute cuisine. GG Productions is the main organizer for this exclusive luxury charity event/organizationFriends In The City. In 2008 more than 500 stylish guests gathered for the ultimate evening of boutique shopping while enjoying fashion shows, swag, stylized cocktails, the exclusive Honolulu premiere of Sex And The City the movie, and the overall Friends In The City experience. The best part about it, this annual event supports Hawaiis Life Foundation, a local HIV/AIDS organization,25 locally nominated cancer Warriors, The American Cancer Society, specifically Hope Lodge in Baltimore, MD.
This years Friends in the City will be a series of fun events showcasing fashion while helping those with cancer. The event will span for three days, May 27 to the 29th, 2010, and will be structured around the official premiere of the movie, Sex and the City II.
