PUBLIC ALERT 2. Oahu Aquarium Service and Sales industry ! Recent new Aquarium cleaning individuals may have no place in your home or office. Beware, often cleaning or custom tank re-sellers have little, or lack of, proper system knowledge. Recently brought to our attention one of these [new] so called experienced pro`s has taken funds from individuals without performing agreed to services, caused system failures, creating thousands of dollars of damage and continues to operate under false pretences. If you wish we will recommend two other Qualified Companies with a positive track record to assist you in Hawaii if we can not.
3. Live rock and LIVE CORALS are still illegal, to collect, ship, import or sell within The State of Hawaii, Help save or reef and our ocean habitats..Get to know our laws.Recent undercover operations in progress may net unlawful importers and exporters who set up and service aquarium systems. Be careful. A $10,000 dollar fine is not what you want.
4. Many live corals and fish are illegal to import into the State of Hawaii.Call Dept.of Land and Natural Resources for a list.
5. Update Special note to collectors Please update your knowledge of what can and cannot be taken from Hawaii waters, Beaches and Tide Pools. The Laws have changed.
