What should I expect when I visit Ohana Baptist Church? What does Ohana have for my family? Where can I serve at Ohana?
Ohana Baptist Church is committed to carrying out the Great Commission in the Pearl Harbor / Hickam area, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, the United States, and all over the world.
The Bible teaches that salvation is the free gift of God, not of works of man, and that "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:15-16 KJV)
Sunday worship services take place at 8:15am, 10:30am, and 6:00pm. Sunday school classes for all ages are at 9:30am. We also have Micronesian worship services in Chuukese, as well as midweek prayer and Bible study.
Pastor Wayne and Diane have lived in Hawaii since 1980. Wayne met Diane at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College.
We strive to be "A Church for the Whole Family", with ministries for everyone. From Nursery, to Children's Church, Patch the Pirate Club, Teens and Singles groups, and much more.
The History of a church is really "His-story". It is the story of how God has worked in the lives of people, bringing them together one by one to be "fitly framed together...an Holy temple in the Lord" (Ephesians 2:20-22).
Ohana Baptist Church is located near the intersection of Puuloa Rd. and Salt Lake Blvd, just minutes from the airport.

This devotion made me smile this morning. I used to worry a lot, now, I hardly worry...and working on not worrying at all, because I know God is in charge and He will ultimately decide the course of how things will end. I just have to trust and wait on Him. I also know that God is all knowing, and that He is not forgetful of my current situation, that He knows the beginning, the middle and the end of my problems. My God is also big, I mean, BIG! Definitely bigger than any problem that'll come my way. Let's see, money problem? My God is rich, and by the way, He's my Father in heaven...(last time I asked my Dad for help, he was more than generous to provide, what more with God in heaven who owns everything?). Health issues? Look, I'm diabetic, not to mention, with high blood pressure but I know God will give me grace to get through this. And if I die, you ask? Hallelujiah! not that I'm rushing but being in heaven with my Lord and Savio0r hardly a scary thought, streets of gold, mansion on the hilltop, no more eyeglasses, no more pills (I'm at six different pills every day, ten if you add my multi-vitamins and supplements), no more aches and pains. That, my friend, is never a dim view of my afterlife. So rejoice, rejoice, and again I say rejoice! Thank you Pastor Anter, with you I will rejoice of my salvation!
