Just steps from your door the ocean beckons you to play in the surf or snorkel at age-old lava reefs where rare and exotic fish flash the brilliant colors of the rainbow. Dont be surprised if a turtle swims alongside you. A perfect mile-long, white-sand beach is an invitation for a lazy stroll, or simply do nothing at all as you ease into a perfect golden tan.
From every point of view, the beauty and history of Maui abounds. To the east is the majestic and breathtaking Haleakala Crater. To the west are the awe-inspiring ridges of the purple and green West Maui Mountains. Turn to the sea, from which much of our bounty flows, and youll see the islands of Molokini, Kahoolawe and Lanai which appear to be suspended on the azure horizon of the warm Pacific Ocean, where humpback whales come to play.
