THANKSGIVINGThe KLC annual Thanksgiving Day worship service is scheduled for Thursday, November 25th, 10:00 a.m., followed by a congregational luau on the lanai at 12:00 noon. Please bring a side dish or your favorite dessert to share. If you would be willing to cook a turkey, or if you have questions, please speak with Vicki Nelson (879-6908).
GETTING READYIn preparation for the season of Advent, we will be decorating our worship area for Christmas right after our Thanksgiving Dinner, at 1:30 pm., on Thursday, November 25th. Please join us for what is traditionally known as the Hanging of the Greens. If you have any questions, please call the church office (879-7979).
SUNDAY ADULT STUDYStarting Sunday, November 28th, the Adult Sunday School class will begin a four part Advent study. Please join in when you can. If you have any questions, please call Steve Brauner at 280-7312.
KLC CONSTITUTION & BYLAWSA Task Force has been working for several months, revising/updating KLC's Constitution and Bylaws. Several drafts have been reviewed by the Church Council, with a final draft being approved at their September meeting for recommendation to the congregation. This final draft will be distributed to KLC members for review prior to a December Congregational Meeting where a first vote will be taken. If approved, ratification will be required by a second vote at the February 2011 Congregational Meeting.
