We believe strongly in the No-Kill philosophy. Animal CARE Foundation will only euthanize animals with documented injuries or illness for which death is currently occurring or imminent and for which pain or other insufferable effects cannot be controlled or cured. As a practice, we engage in and support elder care, accommodation of disabilities and chronic disease and hospice work. All animals that come to us or are traced back due to their microchip at the time of spay/neuter will be cared for until an adoptive family can be found for him or her. Currently, we have over 70 animals in our care, some with special needs, which are looking for loving, permanent homes. All of the animals were either abandoned or rescued from bad circumstances. Therefore, we have just launched our adoptions campaign, One Life, One Love. Visit our adoptions page for more information and for pictures of our special animals.
It is only when we stop treating animals as commodities and start treating them as beings equal to ourselves that we will truly conquer the disposable animal problem.
Animals are such agreeable friendsthey ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.
