Free Stand Up Paddle clinics and board demos:
Boardworks Hawaii brings you free clinics and board demos with safety, board design, advanced paddle technique clinics and a introduction to SUP for first timers. Try our demo fleet for free, learn at the clinics and get advice. Demo boards by C4 Waterman, Paddle Surf Hawaii, Dennis Pang, Rusty, Boardworks, Amundson and more, including SUP race boards.

The demos will be held from 8 am to 10 am only at the Ewa end of Ala Moana Beach park, close to the shower at the West end of the beach park.

9:00 am advanced paddle technique clinic with Robert Stehlik, Jared Vargas, and Jeff Chang followed by Dr. Dan Rodrigues: Health and Fitness benefits of Stand Up Paddling

You are welcome to bring your own paddle and board to the free demos and clinics.

Please help us pick up trash while enjoying the beach.Demos/ Rentals: there are plenty of surf and SUP boards available at Blue Planet Surf Shop: rental/ demo fees start at $19 for 24 hrs (standard surfboards) and $29 / 24 hrs for standard SUP's, $49 / 24 hrs for premium SUP's. Leash, paddle, softracks are included. The shop will credit up to $250 in rental/ demo fees towards the purchase of a new board. Blue Planet also offers a "Try before you buy" program where you can try any new Boardworks board in the shop for two weeks.
