Tucked away on three tropical acres where the Nawiliwili Bay meets the Huleia River, this charming 48 unit plantation style Inn was the first on Kaua'i and retains a sleepy old world charm. In the early 60's John Wayne, Lee Marvin and the cast of Dovovan's Reef relaxed around the pool sharing stories and adventures with other guests.
Nawiliwili Bay is the center of history and activities from surfing or swimming at Kalapaki Beach to charter fishing, kayaking, sailing, scuba diving, golfing, windsurfing, great shopping and convenient to Lihue Airport. The Kauai Inn offers a complimentary continental breakfast pool side every morning with fresh fruits, pastries, juice, coffee and tea.
